Company Radar retrieves data from the sources listed above and applies the following processing:
- Structuring unstructured or semi-structured government notices into consistent, queryable records
- Cross-referencing entities across registers (e.g. linking ASIC company data with ABR status and state building licences)
- Enriching records with derived fields such as signal severity, industry classification, and geographic grouping
- Monitoring registers for changes and generating real-time alerts
- Presenting data through search, dashboards, API, and bulk data feeds
The original government data remains available from the sources above. Our structured, enriched, and cross-referenced dataset is a separate work and is subject to our Terms of Service.
Data accuracy and corrections
We check our data sources at least every 15 minutes and aim to reflect changes as quickly as possible. However, government registers may themselves contain errors or delays.
If you believe any data displayed on Company Radar is inaccurate, please contact us at data@companyradar.com.au and we will investigate promptly.
Attribution for API and bulk data users
If you access Company Radar data through the API or bulk data feeds, your licence agreement will specify any attribution requirements. In general:
- You must retain the original government data source attribution where required by the CC BY 3.0 AU licence
- You must not represent Company Radar data as your own original research or compilation
- Where you display data sourced from our API, a "Data from Company Radar" attribution is appreciated but not mandatory for paid API customers
